If you’ve ever had the privilege of standing at the base of a Giant Sequoia tree, you know it is awe inspiring.
Giant Sequoias can reach heights of 300+ feet. Their impressive height is supported by a surprisingly shallow, wide-spreading root system that can extend 100-150+ feet from the base and generally stays just 6-12 feet below the soil's surface. This broad, shallow, matting root system relies on its extensive spread to anchor the massive tree against storms and nourishes its growth. The roots of older trees become intertwined with those of neighboring Sequoias, creating a network that shares support and nutrients for mutual stability.
Like the Sequoia, our community reaches to the heavens …and relies on our roots in difficult times. Please join us in fostering those connections and creating a network of strength and support, remembering that the power of community lies not in each tree, but in the magnificent forest.

 . . .together we bless
